Snquick Plug is delivered as a ready-to-use blend of dry powders requiring only clean water on-site. It produces a consistent, rapid-setting mortar that is easy to apply, even in challenging conditions. Formulated with a combination of cements, graded aggregates, special fillers and chemical additives, it offers controlled setting times and reduces the risk of thermal cracking.

Snquick Plug can be applied to horizontal, vertical or overhead surfaces across a wide range of thicknesses. Typically, the amount mixed and applied in a single layer is limited to what can be placed using a trowel or gloved hand. Thicker applications can be built up in multiple layers.

Water stopping mortar

The water-stopping mortar shall be Snquick Plug, a single-component cement-based product that requires only the addition of clean water on site. It must be free from chlorides and formulated with a low exothermic reaction to reduce the risk of thermal cracking.

• Patch areas must be cut back to a minimum depth of 15 mm, ensuring a strong mechanical key (no feather edges).
• Clean thoroughly to remove loose particles, dust and laitance.
• Remove grease, algae or mould using steam cleaning or high-pressure water jetting.
• For light oil/grease contamination, use a suitable proprietary degreasing agent.
• To seal leaks, chase cracks to approx. 20 mm and undercut (avoid a V-section). Remove loose material and debris.

Mixing proportions (by volume):

• Add Snquick Plug to clean water.
• Mix to a stiff consistency using a trowel or gloved hand.
• Only mix an amount that can be applied within the specified setting time.

• Apply using a trowel or by hand-kneading, ensuring full contact with the substrate before setting begins.
• For running water: firmly press into place and hold until the initial set is achieved.

• Clean tools, equipment and mixers with clean water immediately after use and before the material sets.
• Once cured, removal is only possible by mechanical means.

Shelf life: 6 months if kept in a dry store in the original, unopened pouch/bag.

Snquick Plug contains cement-based powders that release alkalis when mixed or damp and can be harmful to skin.

• Avoid inhaling dust or contact with skin and eyes.
• Wear appropriate protective clothing, gloves, eye and respiratory protection.
• Barrier creams may provide additional protection.
• If on skin: rinse with plenty of clean water and wash with soap.
• If in eyes: rinse immediately with water and seek medical advice.
• If swallowed: do not induce vomiting — seek medical attention immediately.

Snquick Plug is non-flammable.
