Product Description Overview

SN-SBR Latex is a premium modified styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) based binder formulated with advanced elastomeric latex technology. It is engineered as a high-performance bonding agent for concrete and mortar, especially in demanding repair applications—improving the interfacial bond between old and new concrete for durable repairs.

Characteristics Key Benefits
  • Enhances wear resistance for rubber-wheeled and repetitive traffic conditions.
  • Minimizes drying & aging shrinkage—reducing shrinkage-related cracking.
  • Improves flexibility and flexural strength to help prevent cracking from movement and thermal variation.
  • Delivers excellent bond strength to concrete, plaster, masonry, and cementitious surfaces.
  • Supports low water–cement ratios for improved density and resistance to water penetration.
  • Promotes surface hardening for durability and abrasion resistance.
  • User-friendly: easy mixing and smooth application.
Pack Size Packaging
  • 5 Liter gallon
  • 10 Liter gallon
  • 15 Liter gallon
  • 20 Liter gallon
Scope of Use Applications
  • Basement side walls for protection against moisture ingress and seepage.
  • Small roof terraces for enhanced durability and water-penetration resistance.
  • Sunken areas (toilets & bathrooms), kitchen sink zones, lift pits, balconies, and eaves/sun breakers.
  • Foundations and foundation walls for defense against dampness and groundwater pressure.
  • Bonding new concrete to old concrete for overlays, patch repairs, and rehabilitation works.
Surface Preparation Before Use
  • Clean the concrete surface where breaking/spalling is an issue. Roughen the surface and remove loose dust & particles.
  • Saturate thoroughly with potable water prior to priming; remove any excess standing water.
Coverage Consumption
  • As a bonding agent: 7–10 sqm/kg per coat
Application Procedure Method
  • Primer coat, Second coat and Top coat.
  • Apply as ready-to-use product by roller or brush.
  • Note: Dilution with water if required.
